About SeaPort-e

Seaport-e is a NAVSEA task ordering contract available to all of the Navy’s Systems commands including: NAVSEA, NAVAIR, NAVSUP, NAVFAC, ONR, SSP, SPAWAR, MSC, and the USMC. Black Tree is a service disabled small business prime on this contract. SeaPort-e enhances the Navy’s Seapower 21 objective to increase efficiency, and allows for tailoring services according to the needs of geographically-dispersed organizations with significantly diverse product area requirements and missions. The methodology of procurement is standardized and automated, providing for amazing new throughput during the task order procurement cycle.

Quality Assurance Program

Throughout the design, development, and production of more than one hundred products to our clients, BTG has maintained a rigorous quality assurance process. At each phase of design, development, and production our engineering team ensures that end items are inspected for quality. The quality assessments range from spot check QA assessments at various points in the process. The QA assessment results are documented in our QA database and the QA data set is inspected for any anamolies with the process or product end item. Any peculiarities or deviations from quality specifications are selected for further investigation. The process continues with a detailed analysis of root cause and modifications are made to the production process to prevent continued production of further anamolies. This process has allowed BTG to consistently deliver high quality solutions to our clients
